About Me
Hi, Iām Colleen! I am an associate licensed therapist in Washington State specializing in strengths-based therapy, dedicated to helping my clients recognize the power they hold in their lives. My approach combines informative handouts with personalized strategies to empower individuals to explore their strengths and navigate challenges. I work with clients who are ready to see themselves in a new light. Together, we'll embark on a journey of deeper self-awareness, exploring how your past experiences have shaped who you are today. Your negative experiences do not have to hold power over you anymore. Let's work together to find empowering solutions for the present and future.
I have worked with diverse populations, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and life transitions. I also have experience with military populations (Active Duty, Reserve/Guard, and spouses) as well as veteran life & civilian transitions. I hold a Master of Science in Counselor Education with a Specialization Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Certificate in Military and Trauma Counseling from East Carolina University and am committed to ongoing professional development to enhance my practice.
Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time with my dogs, horseback riding, and exploring Washington. I have also lived in several other states: Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maryland, North Carolina, and California, which enrich my perspective and connections with clients as we work together toward their goals.
